Don't Nod is such a weird company. Started with Remember Me in 2013, which became kind of a meme but eventually sold 1 million, which they themselves said was "OK." Then ONLY 2 years later, made an unexpected smash hit with Life Is Cringe. Literally saved the company. After that they kinda coasted and made Vampyr, which sold pretty well for them, another 1 million. But then in the same year....Adventures of Captain Spirit...? Then just off the rails with Tell Me Why, Life Is Strange 2, Twin Mirror, etc. Then they decided to do a Vampyr spinoff in 2024, but they slapped on a random uggo black woman for some reason. It bombed of course, just like their last 5 games. Then they added another random black woman to their next game again...and again....Then again, they are French, and the French are known to have major black fever. I'm surprised the company is still standing to be honest.
