Instead, you will end up using the same 3 guns throughout 90% of the game while the rest are used because you feel like having a little spice to the combat and get away from machinegun/shotgun/goo gun trifecta. I do wonder why they wasted a whole weapon slot to a ray gun that's primary fire mode only stuns enemies, and the alternate fire that actually kills them. Slowly, but at least it kills them.
