Not even remotely.
Klei doesn't know how to make good games, they know how to make shit that streamers love to unravel or crap that you can get autistic about but the games are not really good.
Most of their game design is not about difficulty either, it's about tedium you have to solve with clunky mechanics.
If you enjoy their game good for you, I just don't understand why they are so popular however.

don't starve was not designed for combat deeper than chopping wood. it was just trading damage, plus traps and expensive ranged attacks. kiting was an accident.
stomping everything with little to no resources broke any possible sense of immersion
it's one of those games that went well past its lifespan
