What would make this 10/10 for you?
>>
detailed rape mechanics
npcs getting traumatized by the raping
>>
>>737947705
this and also player rape and pregnancy and prostitution if played as a female character
>>
>>737947543
There is nothing they can do to live up to the hype, but this >>737947705 would be a good start
>>
it should be cancelled.
>>
>>737947543
Kirkbride returning
Pagliarilo being delegated to side quests
Attributes
A bit of bethesda jank (but not too much)
>>
>>737947543
No blacks
>>
Main antagonist being a Nord male based on Trump
Redguard male Nord female couples in every city
Nords not being a playable race
Imperial victory in the Skyrim Civil War being canon
>>
>Daggerfall's character creation, but make the useless skills useful (or at least good for roleplaying) and fast travel system (without the huge, empty world obviously).
>Morrowind's spells and physics
>Oblivion's NPC behavior, skill perks, and overall NPC disposition system
>Skyrim's alchemy
>no level scaling
>Soule
>>
>>737947543
105 Skill trees. Custom spellmaker, Morrowind inspired with extra fields like spell delivery and modifiers. Airship gameplay (Nirn has airships). The rest is negotiable with mods.
>>
>>737947543
Melee combat that doesn't feel like I'm scribbling on my target with a marker.
Ranged combat that offers more than shooting an arrow every 3 seconds.
Magic combat that offers more than dps effects.

>>737947705
Mindbreak meter
>>
Movement tech including but not only magic: levitate, blink, but also directional dodging, wall jumping, that sort of thing

mass resignation/suicide of high-ranking bethesda employees

Multiple provinces:

Hammerfell, Skyrim and Morrowind

Pregnancy mechanic.
>>
I really don't need another TES game, thanks.
>>
>>737952890
>directional dodging
you mean like rollslop? the idea is that your stats matter
>>
>>737947543
I want it to be most about sailing and pirate ships, I want the regular ole exploring the land to not be as exciting as sailing is, I want levitation and water walking back, it's helpful in ship battles.
>>
>>737955912
dodging is the wrong word, I want a positioning tool and maybe directional attacks based on that, similar to how Morrowind did it but not slow and shitty

I want to see RPGs retain the aspect of character progression through levels but get away from simple dice roll checks for success. In practice this might mean wider timing windows for actions, greater enemy knockback in combat, lesser knockback on self, increased ability to cancel actions by reaction, etc.
>>
>>737952349
Parryslop and rollslop are like guaranteed ways to ruin the series. Theres nothing wrong with rigid stat requirements determining a battle. Movement is highly over rated, they call it skill when you pass a screamer check every 10 seconds. Thats not skill. Skill is being a master tactician, and knowing when to flee. Also with magic, buffs and debuffs aren’t as interesting as you think they are. It’s just something you press every minute, or before a fight. Buffing is more like minigame content. Bow can be interesting provided it’s more realistic, it just feels like playing call of duty: middle earth currently. Which is definitely kinda fun honestly but I see your point you raised, it’s not very realistic like the rest of the game is. Because you just end up kiting or safespotting, enemies wouldn’t just run at you like that and keep tanking arrows.

ONE (1) large castle plot you can build your 'base' on and not
>haha build our cities for us we are lazy :3
>>
>>737947543
Todd asked us to forget they ever announced it :/. What an odd thing to say.
>>
>>737956568
If we’re base building, we’re probably going to a new unexplored continent and we’re not seeing humans anymore. Bases don’t really work like that.
>>
Scrap the project and kill Todd Howard.
>>
do IPs really need to continue? should you really make sequels to something 15+ years later?
>>

>Parryslop and rollslop
Not necessarily the solution I meant. Before you get into new mechanics, it could be addressed with maybe a change in the animations that reflect your weapon colliding with an enemy or whiffing a committed swing better or communicated better with sound. About the mechanics, maybe more inputs would make it more engaging. Chivalry's not perfect but at least it's more involved than one button press, same button hold for a power attack. Even Morrowind had attacks based on direction but I confess it hardly made a difference. Ranging could reach out into side weapons like darts or throwing potions on a hotkey. Magic doesn't have to limited to buffs or debuffs or damage. Using telekineses to hurl physics objects at enemies is more interesting than casting <damange type>bolt again.
>>
>>737947543
Just release it as the most comprehensive and free creation kit, don't bother making a game.

It being made 10 years ago by good Bethesda.
Woke Bethesda can only produce trash.

Ngl Bethesda has a lot of work to do:

>Hammerfell AND High Rock
Don't want to be surrounded by blacks all the time, I need a little room to breath (and some cultural and architectural diversity)
>Sailable ship
And they can't half-ass it, either. No fucking Bethjank; but proper, smooth sailing, and highly-customizable ships.
>Gameplay that isn't just dungeon crawling
Look to KCD2 as an example
>Be more interesting than trope-y generic fantasy
>Graphics (especially character models) need to look better than Starfield and at LEAST as good as the Oblivion Remaster
>Return of the arena/arena battles
>The inevitable outpost building must be good and make sense in the world
No fucking annoying free form bs like Fo4 or 3 fab types of Starfield; a proper castle, proper buildings, flexibility in home type and decorations.
>Balanced combat
>Much better magic than Skyrim
>Better combat in general instead of just "hit x to slash"
>No stupid/generic/ugly NPCs like in Starfield
>NPC behavior improvement
Again, look to KCD2 as an example. Ex. if an item goes missing and you were the only person in the room, the NPC will deduce it was you and report it to the guards, etc.
>SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER STEALTH & stealth-based quests
Starfield's stealth was a joke. And the fact that Bethesda made grates AS LARGE AS A PERSON WHILST STANDING because they didn't reduce the hitbox when crouched is, frankly, embarassing
>10/10 questlines like Crimson Fleet/UC Vanguard/Dark Brotherhood (Oblivion)
>Better writing
>More refined/impressive little touches
People loved games like BotW/Crimson Desert/RDR2 precisely because of seemingly "pointless" small touches such as:
* Mud drying and cracking on boots over time
* Characters shielding their eyes when looking toward the sun
* Horses (or mounts) getting nervous near predators
* etc.

And in general more overall competence from Bethesda, which, I know, is asking for a lot from them.

Give it to Pearl Abyss. They have perfected the Bethesda formula and have earned the right to make the preeminent game in the genre.
>>
>>737958189
Warhorse perfected the formula.
Pearl Abyss makes games more reminiscent of Assassin's Creed (but better) than Elder Scrolls.
>>
>>737958189
>They have perfected the Bethesda
Crimson Sir is ubislop not TES
>>
>>737958189
even oblivion is unironically a better "video game" than crimson desert. yeah CD has got a massive world filled to the brim with models with 400 animals but literally no video game mechanics to engage you in that world. they already knew how to design sprawling environments and puzzles, dunno why they didn't fucking make any dungeons/labyrinths.

I would genuinely be fine with Skyrim 2.
Same overall gameplay mechanics but just at a bigger scale and with more advanced tech. I don't need them to reinvent the wheel, just give me bigger cities, more dialogue, new spells, slightly less clunky combat, and honestly I'm set.
>>
If they do 2-3 regions at once if there's no alternate start it's going to be DOA immediately.

I'm guessing was that they did develop Hammerfell but then realized that vidya featuring heavily black people don't sell at all so they scrapped the project and are making Skyrim 2 instead.

It's just going to be a lazy sequel with tons of 1:1 memberberries and stolen Creation Club content.
>>
>>737958071
Oh forgot to add:
>Cities that ACTUALLY feel like cities
More than just 8 fucking buildings cmon now
>>
Whatever the game's going to be, modders will make skyrim like that but way better in less than a year
