Final boss was very tough, i asked my bf for help and he coulnd't kill him either, and googling showed me 99% of people who claim they played it haven't even touched the game.Here i was thinking i was overleveld being lvl 35 for final boss and he kept kicking my ass repeatedly yet on the internet everyone "Ohhh i totally killed the boss at lvl 25" "ohh pfft i killed him at lvl 19"Yeah right, lying pieces of shit. Had to grind like crazy to be able to kill CHAOS and every single youtube final boss fight i checked after that had everyone lvl 60+ but riiight people in forums and reddit "totally" beat the game at low level. Lying scumbags.Now instead of following with FF 2 i'm thinking of playing Strangers of Paradise since it's tied to FF 1!

I remember my first time fighting him in the NES version where he opened up the battle with a series of giganuke (including the actual NUKE spell) spells and immediately threw my party on the defensive. When I worked my way back to him the next time, he gave me time to get things setup and died to my Master punching the everliving fuck out of him in three turns.

I never beat FF1, out of the 2d games I'd recommend FF4 as the "Final Fantasy". The game has a nice story.

>>737959559ok, dont be exploring in the early game, all the world is connected, literal almost end game enemies are right next door from the starting town to the left and down a bit. You will get your ass handed to you because in this game it doesn't matter if you fight strong enemies, harder fights are just for better loot. Just fight the Captains that drop Flame Bows for the guest characters and leave them in the back row. Your main party put everyone in the front row so they levle up tanky-ness. And have them spam attack or teleport or warp on the enemies (teleport and warp are the best spells in the game, you can warp away enemies and they count as kills, my head canon is that they warped them to other FFs to ruin the day there "not my problem" style, this spell affects every mob except most bosses and the Undead)It's better to fight your own party around low level enemies in FF2 to grind levels in whatever you want. Also you need to have shields equipped to level up evasion faster.Have fun.
