This should give you a good angle on the long red shots, then if you hang in the middle the rest of the first phase is pretty free. Then follow him to the top right, go back down to mid left, dodge like once to the left and then start going right because he goes to the other side of the screen and the bullets shift trajectory. You want to go with the flow of the bullets, you can blindly dodge them but if you do it that way it goes pretty smooth.
