I was one of the biggest MGS fans growing up, I even loved Policenauts when the fan translation was released in '09 but MGS5 is unforgivable. He took 5 years and close to 100 million dollars to deliver us a half baked game that delivered on almost nothing. I was unironically too young and stupid to appreciate this game when it came out (and I was like 22). Been playing it again recently and it is one of my favorite metal gear games along with 2. Everything is kino, the story and setting are great, you just have to actually engage with it and learn about it/pay attention to the tapes. As someone who was filtered by it 10+ years ago, a lot of you got filtered.
