I bought Elden Ring from local game store for 28 euros. I have never played souls-like. What should I know?

Prioritize increasing HP because enemy damage ramps up quickly.If you die to a boss and want to back out and return later, pick up your runes in the boss arena and then quit to the menu. When you load you'll be placed outside the arena with you runes.
Get the Great Épée as early as you can and it will be easy mode till midgame. It's pretty close to the starting location.
