Then his girlfriend Danielle fell pregnent if she had the kid, he would've had to give up video games and continue working as an animal control guy. Instead she had an abortion so he could continue to make video games. Supposedly this fucked up their relationship in all kinds of ways. Super Meat Boy is about this. Super Meat Boy = Edmund, Bandage Girl = Danielle and Dr Fetus is the abortion. The game is Edmund keeps trying to reach his girlfriend but the abortion keeps taking her away from him. Then the hardest levels are from her perspective in Cotton Alley because she was having an even worse time.
I played the game on game pass, it was fun, but the difficulty was weird, I found some of the early bosses harder than the later ones, the final boss was too easy. Won't buy it for full price but definitely on a 50% sale
