My main PC used for games can't run newer than 10 anyway. On my laptop I use for work I had to jump through hoops to enable offline install without a Microsoft account when installing 11. If/when I get to the point of having to replace either, I'll probably switch to Linux. I think most emulators have Linux versions now, and I don't really do much besides internet and games. There are a few Windows-only applications I've gotten used to like MPC-HC, IrfanView, foobar2000 and MusicBee that might be annoying to find workarounds for, or maybe Wine works really well?
