Metal Gear Rising didn't prepare me for this game. It's crazy the number of enemies they throw at you here.

>>738006984Ninja Gay Den 4 keeps some of the mentality of the previous games where it's best to kill an enemy so fast they never get a hit in. This one is a bit more balanced than like NG2 because it doesn't absolutely flood the screen with enemies made of tissue paper, but you're still going to rely on a few moves made to quickly kill a guy.

>>738006984Yeah I gave up on this game because of the difficulty It's not hard enough that you get walled, it's always a matter of a retry or two, but it's hard enough that it is too much mental effort
>>738009193Not him. The on landing UT upgrade gives you a panic button when the game is feeling too hard because you can do a short jump forward right into a UT. I'd also get at least one that becomes an instant kill during berserk. The default dual swords have good ones that hit in a very wide area fast.

>>738007291It still has NGS2 style difficulty with tanky fucks that will kill you in a few hits but more extreme on MN. I still prefer the og2 version of throwing tons of ranged mobson screen, at least you know you can kill them reliably and still have some wiggle room in a given encounter, the key is surviving multiple encounters which doesn't matter in NG4 since you have more resources
