I’m fiending for Splatoon Raiders. A pve extraction shooter campaign with optional co-op sounds really fun, and I love the franchise

>What are you currently enjoying on your Switch 2 /v/?
Final Fantasy IV, haven't played it since 2003 on ZSNES
>What are you looking forward to, or most excited for in 2026 so far?
Elden Ring for a second playthrough handheld
>Did you get anything from the current eShop sales?
Picked up SMT3 Nocturne the other day, tempted to pickup Octopath Traveler 2 but I might wait for a Switch 2 patch, since a DQ11 Switch 2 version leaked the other day
>Playing anything on handheld boost mode?
RE4 looks really good with the handheld boost

Splatoon Raiders and rhythm heaven

nah

I play in handheld mode almost all the time

The Adventures of Elliot demo was great. Looking forward to that game. Still hope we get a Triangle Strategy 2 at some point

That's what you get when you play a dogshit game in a awful series of dogshit games.
>>
>>738011010
I was having fun playing Pokopia until I unlocked Palette Town
Game just became a chore after that.
Still mad about Metroid Prime 4 being dogshit
New Mario Kart was dogshit
Waiting for my brother to finish Donkey Kong so I can play that (looks fun)
Never play in handheld mode desu
>>
>>738007454
Finally got a microSD EX card they were straight up not shipping them to my third world shithole so I had to get one internationally.
Busy with work but i've been playing Pokopia and Mouse PI for Hire, kinda shit performance on the last one sadly so I pirated it on my PC and am playing it there
Looking forward to Splatoon and might get Kirby soon, I'm not sure.
>>
>>738011979
Just don’t do palette town, stupid.
Mario Kart id fantastic, get taste.
And why are you replying to me
>>
>>738011903
Elliot is more of a 2D adventure game, worth trying the demo. And not sure what Isaac has to do with anything, but happy for you

The Wonder dlc, though I just finished it and aren't really inclined to the dumb grind that is the water grind for the last medal, so I'll just be doing the Koopaling bonus fights before long. Need to get back to Stories 3 and DKB though.
>looking forward to
Still debating Tomodachi Life. It looks like such chaotic fun, but I worry about my creativity and when combined with my current backlog of games...
>sales
I rarely pay attention to sales.
>handheld
I am not a fan of handheld mode, honestly.

Woah
>>
>>738012607
The bosses and challenges in the Wonder dlc were fun. Decent little chunk of content. They should have focused more on that in the promotions, not just the multiplayer shit. And the game looks great with the higher res.
>>
>>738012664
The only retarded person in the thread is the one defending the dogshit new Mario Kart.
>>
>>738012935
Sorry you have really shit taste and are too ass to get good at the wall riding, grinding and bouncing mechanics, but it makes the game way better than any other kart racer. If you’re so upset by this, you should stop replying to me. Why did you in the first place?
>>
>>738011979
>I was having fun playing Pokopia until I unlocked Palette Town
I've basically played through the entire game. Except Palette Town.
Does Palette Town suck?
>>
>>738013664
It’s basically a gigantic blank slate. So good, if you want that experience. I personally didn’t, but was happy with the rest of the game. It’s best to wait to do it until you unlock the final transformation anyway

>>
>>738013664
It's suppose to be the free area. Except they divided the land between three islands. If you want to build what you want you have to flatten the three islands and landscape the ocean. Also Palette Town is the only offline game area you can build co-op.
>>
>>738014028
Actually believing that isaac is a “zelda like” at all because it has enemies within rooms like the original game is more retarded than I thought someone would be capable of, congrats on the feat

Was playing Blue Prince, reached the second Mansion ( mount Holy Draft) and I just looked up guides to find out that people still haven't discovered the true ending.
Biggest waste of time of my life and it end up becoming my most played game on the Switch, when in reality I was half of the time looking on the screencaps figuring out clues.

Now I have option paralysis. Playing Skyrim because it's 60fps now, FF7 ( original), Virtua Fighter, Red Dead Redemption,RE 7 and I can't focus in one.
I think I'll beat RE7 and just go straight to Requiem and then I try to play the rest.
>>
>>738014805
>Dickhead frogposter spoiled Blue Prince for me
I hope you develop actual paralysis

>>
>>738007454
Currently playing Anthology of the Killer, really digging it, it's basically a walking sim but I enjoy the vibes.
Had to stop playing Pragmata this past week because I've been sick and I think the combination of hacking and shooting would have lit my brain on fire during that fever. Looking forward to getting back to it
Outside of the various stuff in my backlog, the only game on the horizon is Rhythm Heaven.

Got the dbrand joycon grips, any recommended hard case that fits the switch with the grips on?
>>
>>738014951
Dude, I am doing you a favor. Someone even tried to save me from misery when I was thinking about buying it.
And no, I didn't spoiled anything. What I wrote is inaccurate, only those who reached that part ( literally the very end after 120h) will understand.

I love puzzle games ( Lorelei, Fez, Tunic, La Mulana) and this is by FAR the least rewarding puzzle game ever. Every time you think you solved something only gives you an even more obscure hint of something.
Besides that there's the whole RGN of the drafts that will make you wait or hope for a specific room, even if you already figured out a solution or want to try something.
>>
>>738018057
Understood, I take back my joke and wish you functional limbs. And yeah, I suspect the RNG will reach a point where it becomes grating. I’m only like 5ish hours in, so I still have enough flexibility in discovery that it has been fun and only momentarily been annoying, but I have some big threads I want to pull, so if rng prevents that, I’ll start to be frustrated. And hearing that there’s some yet to be discovered true ending is really lame. I hate shit that requires community brainstorming or what have you. Baba, Obra Dinn and Outer Wilds are my sort of puzzle game, whereas something like Animal Well I had no interest in returning to after the first ending. We’ll see if this is similar

Wait really? I mean that's cool and all, but I was planning on buying the Switch 2 anymore, most likely I'll get it next week. I already told my sister that I'll give her my Switch OLED once I get the 2, and she's already asking me to buy Switch Sports and Tomodachi Life.
>>

>>
>>738018904
I wish this game had layers like Anima Well, so you feel like you somewhat accomplished. I reached layer 2 and found a lot of bunnies and what's already happy.
The problem with Blue Prince is that the regular ending you can get in like 10-15 hours and then you have an endless thread.
I hope you have fun with it, but be aware.

Pro controllers are a waste of money since the Joycon 2 are so good.
>>
>>738020971
Switch 2 pro controller is fantastic though. Back buttons are a godsend, and a headphone jack is very nice to have. If it didn’t have snapback, it’d be perfect
>>
>>738020578
Yeah if the game says Switch 2 Edition it means it can go into your Switch 1. What's on the cartridge is actually both a Switch 1 game & its accompanying Switch 2 upgrade DLC. During the inital boot of a Switch 2 it will allow you to transfer all your software over to Switch 2 including save files. You could just start the game now if you're excited enough. The upgrade for Switch 2 isn't super pooper excellent or anything. It's a Switch 1 game with some higher fidelity.
>>
>>738021095
I don't need back buttons, Switch 2 games let you remap buttons, that's a much better feature.
>>
>>738020028
Nice
>>
>What are you currently enjoying on your Switch 2 /v/?
Crimson Butterfly, beat Requiem recently, but hated the controls on handheld
>What are you looking forward to, or most excited for in 2026 so far?
New FE for sure
>Did you get anything from the current eShop sales?
I never really played Finaly Fantasy but Im looking into 9
>Playing anything on handheld boost mode?
I only recently realized this exists, this is just for old games on the virtual console im guessing?
>>
>>738021189
They’re not in competition, they work synergistically, there is no “better feature”. Being able to remap doesn’t afford you more fingers to use. Back buttons allow another source of simultaneous input while your other fingers are occupied
>>
Want to buy pic related when it comes on physical, do you know it the s1 edition will have the upgrade or a s2 physical is coming too
>>
>>738021608
You can remap buttons to where your fingers will be placed during games.
>>
>>738021883
According to Switch Up it's one of the worst S2 versions on the system, inconsistent fps, even if it targets 60
>>
>>738022831
I’m not going to clawgrip like a spastic to get more finger where buttons will be. Back buttons are in front of fingers that otherwise would not have a method of input available to them. It’s simple. And it’s a very nice feature
>>
Anyone else noticed there's a shitload of actual physical (not GKC) third-party games being released in the second half of 2026?
>>
>>738023075
I wanted physical Pragmata but it's cuck card.
>>
>>738022948
You dont need clawgrip, you need remap.
>>
>>738023661
I have remap, but I also have buttons accessible to fingers that otherwise wouldn’t be able to press any. I don’t know what sort of cope or autism you are on to not understand the benefit of that, but you are too unintelligent to communicate with. Please stop posting.

>third-party games being released in the second half of 2026
Obviously does not include pragmata.
But I was looking at Amazon and there were games like:
>The Disney Afternoon Collection
>Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter
>LAYERS OF FEAR THE FINAL MASTERPIECE EDITION
>Shenmue III Enhanced
>ChromaGun 2: Dye Hard
>Mouse P.I. for hire
>Culdcept BEGINS
>Formation Z
>SHUTEN ORDER
>High on Life 2
>Super Meat Boy 3D
>Danganronpa 2
>R-Type Dimensions II

All with proper cards, and that's only from a 2 minutes search
>>
>>738023075
>give companies a choice between cheap minimal storage card that makes the player download the full game, or bigger cart to include the full game but more expensive for the company

Anyone with a brain saw this coming, but it was an unfortunate compromise if Nintendo wanted third parties to support the Switch 2 without being so costly for them.

I've been playing Kirby Forgotten + Star Crossed World. Was not expecting it to have so much content, beat the main story, all the treasure roads, Star Crossed World and the first level of Isolated Isles. Liking it a lot but I'm a little burnt out from it. Thinking about starting either Links Awakening or Super Mario 3D World next.
>>
>>738024426
oh, that's neat
but i haven't had any trouble with the sticks on the joycons
I'll keep this in mind for the future
>>
>>738024903

Great complementary games there, Kirby is made pretty much in the 3D World style. However if you're burnt out it might not be so wise.

Will Xenoblade 3 get an upgrade soon? It looks like ass on switch 2
>>
>>738022897
It got a bunch of updates which, according to the same channel, largely improved the game on Switch 2 even if it's not 100% perfect.
The real bad Switch 2 port would be Wh40k Rogue Trader but that's your typical Owlcat moment, I heard the PS5 version is pretty mediocre too either.
>>
>>738026308
even both pathfinder were buggy for a while
Owlcat is off the hook for being a poor slav devs using toasters
