you know how mad "blizzard" would be if turtle wow just oopsied its server database into every player's email inbox?
The person who runs this server is a russian who operates them solely to get donation money and rwt gold to chinks and boomers so there is 0% chance that would happen. She will just do it again under another pseudonym
>>738011293didnt ask. also i doubt it
>>738010939>bro this money printer we have?>yeah bro we're just going to give it out for free
>>738011362they rolled over and died voluntarily. under basically no threat (california civil court)
>>738011293so she's doing the same thing as Blizzard yet provides a better gaming experience? sign me up
basically, what would happen, is that "blizzard" would no longer "own" world of warcraft at that point, because a better version of their game would exist, and everyone would be playing it. so "blizzard" would either have to make a better product or stop layering their servers or something
>he doesn't know
>>738010939Their server had already been leaked a while ago, even if it is an older version. Knock yourself out. https://github.com/Winfidonarleyan/turtle-wow
>>738012139>zero trusti dont get it
>>738010939There is nothing special about Turtle Wow. I played it to max level and did a little end-game content. The things it adds to the game are irrelevant. Zones that are fine and look good but clearly don't have the same level of writing and lore significance. It has a hardcore mode which is cool. The new dungeons it adds are all ass you run only to get the loot, like the new stormwind dungeon that is just stockades but with random out of place enemies. The only really bad thing about turtle wow I disliked were the stupid tents.Anyone can just host their own vanilla server and it would be the same or better experience. No one was playing turtle wow because of the ''amazing'' new content they added, they played it because it was where everyone plays. When you shut down one server people hop to another server. The population is more scattered but it will eventually land on a few big servers.Private servers are unstoppable. Blizzard shuts these servers down as a strategy when they roll out their new ideas. They shut down the biggest vanilla server before releasing Classic WoW. It also gives them a lot of publicity as everyone in the gaymer world is talking about it.Them shutting down turtle wow means classic+ is close to release. They don't want to release classic+ for people to just say turtlewow did it better. They don't really care that people are playing on these servers. It will take years for another server to take this one's place as the definitive classic+ server.
