it suprise me how this games will be rebooted and changed like 20 times during a little development to turn into completly different things. but today games go for one vision and take over a decade to make.
Conker is someone who starts out as a genuinely good person, albeit flawed (drinking, ditching Berri), but the more time he spends around the assholes of the Panther Kingdom, the more of an asshole he himself becomes- greedy, opportunistic, uncaring. The whole point of the ending is he's finally becime King Asshole, Ruler of the Assholes and Biggest Asshole of them all, and he doesn't fucking want any of it.
