It genuinely baffles me how they just almost entirely dropped it post-release. I feel like if you launch with a Mario Kart you have something post-release to keep the launch period interesting, even if its as simple as themed events (ala Kirby Air Riders, Smash Bros., Splatoon etc.) or at least confirm future content will happen eventually.Instead they've ALMOST entirely not touched the game, and it's gotten several very small updates.
