Indie devs, hell even AAAA faggot devs, do not care for any of what you said. All they care about is a userbase that will buy stuff, and the Switch 1/2 has that. Also you literally cannot even buy a Steam Deck from Valve anymore. It's gone indefinitely, just like the Index kit. So even if the 'eck is better, it's not like people can even get it anymore without resorting to buying someone's sloppy seconds.

Beyond Bananza and Pokopia being amazing, it's honestly worth it just as a switch pro. A lot of games have been massively upgraded, the biggest thing being several games going from unstable 30 to solid 60 fps. Even with games that weren't upgraded they all now run better in handheld and they all have much faster load times. My 50+ game switch 1 library all running better is worth 450 dollars by itself.

I would say the switch 2 editions are more meaningful upgrades than the demon souls one. Odyssey goes from like 720p on average to 1600p, with a much more stable framerate, much better aliasing, etc. The demon souls remake arguably looks worse than the original.
