You can only play as human male knight fighting fantasy creatures and exploring fantasy lands in fantasy games.If the only difference between Fantasy Game and Call of Duty was the character customization, then this point would make some sense, but it isn't.

Most people don't finish games at all, if you take this data-oriented mentality to its logical conclusion, you'll deliver unpolished turds past the point most people drop the game because nobody will see it anyway, which in turn will lead to the game getting worse reviews, worse player recommendations and worse sales too.The low percentage of players who do find the secrets have a richer experience and sell the game to the masses who don't even do the mandatory path.

Eldritch abominations with ulterior motives. Sentient gas clouds. Shambling undead that actively gets hunted by the church.
