Even if the enemy is able to chunk your health it has no way to stop you bruteforcing it to death, and you only need a few revives as a safety net. If the boss can't kill you instantly, it can't win.This is the sort of situation where a retard will have an easier time since they have no qualms abusing items to win and just facerolling something, whilst somebody used to an actual videogame will try to play earnestly and just get fucked.They recently added a Hard Mode to address healspam so arguably this problem is "solved".In the flipside it's also "easy" if you just abuse mechanics. Focus Mode seems like an out of combat regen buff, but actually it's designed to hard counter many fights since it's a slowdown you can perform parries out of, create projectile shields with and use max level Force Palms from. It's your strongest option in 80% of situations so it just becomes a question of how long you want to be waiting in Bullet Time.Force Palm is super weak at level 1, then becomes busted when you upgrade to Triple Palm and have a way to restore Spirit quickly. It also becomes ranged so anything that tries to play keep away suddenly can't do that.Lots of bosses actually work on Zelda logic in that they have simple movesets but get hard countered by something in your kit, the catch is the game won't tell you what so it's largely a game of experimenting to see what works. This is arguably pretty shit design if you don't actually have parts of your tree unlocked - the tldr is, your entire skill tree will at some point be needed for enemies and puzzles so buildcraft is really just a suggestion.Even though the game has a dodge and a parry they're situationally helpful, you need really good timing and awareness to rely on them alone. It can be hard to adjust to a game that works on this logic.

The idea is that you can use it long before the enemy starts attacking and then just sit there scratching your ass in slow-motion until before the enemy attacks. If anything, it's a response to input delay and unresponsiveness by putting the game in super slow-motion.
