Finally played it.This is extremely close to Marvel vs Capcom 3. Maybe that makes sense for a superhero game. I comboed into a launcher into an aerial rave and it just worked the first try no problem. It's not exactly the same game, but it's often using a lot of the same mechanics. There's a snapback with the same name that works in much the same way.This seems to be designed for a controller. There's no motion inputs on any character I tried, and there's like 7 buttons used, even relying on 2 button options as much as possible.As a game, I liked it. Characters don't seem as insane as MVC characters, which means actually fighting is more in the forefront. There's a lot of defensive mechanics including pushblock and an alpha counter. I haven't played 1000 matches against other people yet, but they're definitely trying to strike a balance between cool offense and not letting one person dominate the fight uncontested.
