Deadlock is good, but as someone who plays it, the game certainly is meeting the bare minimum for modern sensibilities. I think the best way to describe it is just that crazy psycho killers respect Pocket's pronouns and call him a they/them, even the people who LITERALLY know who Pocket is so there is no "muh disguise"But almost all of the characters are really likable and fun and have excellent writing/voice acting. Even Pocket, who I make fun of for the they/them BS, has a great VA (The same as Shiv's VA) and great lines.I wish they would just make it so some people refer to pocket as "he" and some as "she" and that makes more sense for 1920s NYC instead of assuming demons would be nice enough to say "they"
