>>738079486Man, it's been a while since one of these threads, huh?
>>738079643input lag is defined as>press key>pipeline of things which has to happen>frame appears on monitorso if enabling anti aliasing adds extra shit on the pipeline (which in fact, it literally does), then it affects the input lag. typically without AA you have more FPS and>the more FPS the less delay between button press and new framet. devil advocate
>>738077283I don't see him enabling raytracing, 4k resolution and ultra settings though.
>>738080286I knew you would say that the lower fps from AA (which barely applies btw unless you are using a form of DLAA/Native FSR for an example in modern games) is causing "input lag" Native TAA costs about 3-5 fps, depending on your current FPS, the input delay that it will be adding is absolutely negligible unless you are already running sub-60 fps at which point you have bigger issues. Other post-process AA like FXAA and SMAA have literally next to no performance impact because its post-process (and almost always worthless due to the fact)The only AA methods that will hammer your FPS to hell and back are SSAA and MSAA, as well as DLAA/Native FSR as noted above

>>738081109Must've missed it then. The last one I remember was more like 2 years ago.

>>738077038>vsync: off>vrr tech: disabled
>>738079643Every single method of AA introduces input lag. And everything but a light pass of fxaa or csaa or similar is noticable to people with fast brains.
>>738080093Try 8x MSAA plus force FXAA in nvcpl
