I can't think of any games that take place in the real world without a fantastical edge. A lot of my favorite books, manga, etc deal with a mundane life and character drama. Even games that take place in the "real world" like Persona have fantasy, magic, etc in them.

The only thing that springs to mind is something like Heavy Rain but even then, that has speculative near-future tech and closer to science fiction than something grounded in reality. Why aren't there vidya without that angle?
