About to download it, since I am a big fan of both 1 and 2, beat 1 on God Mode, and 2 on Titan Mode. Emulating it, though I can't wait to see how the story ends!

It's good. Make sure to play Ascension though, its unfairly hated.
I find it to be noticeably better than 2, but not as good as 1. Story is retarded but in a lot of ways trapped by the retarded setup 2 had, they at least try to tie it to the series' lore in some events.Great combat mechanics, but the encounters are generally not as interesting as in 1. Agreed that Ascension is well worth playing, maybe top 3 in the series to me.

>>738099793I probably care about the combat system more than I should, but this one has a ton of options available in combat, including ways to go up in midair, dash around or move quickly down to the ground, easy quick projectile fire and complex grab mechanics. It's never too much, but it's definitely more than the previous games.
