The original goal is to create an adult female character who is clearly in a position of power compared to the assumad male in the scene. Making the woman an adult without a question was always a core principle because women and subservient men are assblasted about men liking younger women. See also animation where even such large companies like Disney are hard pressed to make their previously teen princesses adults at least on paper (making them visibly too old would interfere with marketing to the target audience). The second principle is making the woman dominating the scene and not in the traditional sensual "femdom" way men find attractive. This female approved dominant postion makes it clear the woman absolutely don't need the man and he is only allowed to amuse her like a pet. See the Lady from Resident Evil 8.This of course leans into outfit design as well where the character is dressed in a way what tries to hide what men would naturally like to see. The point is the design philosophy where it is a consistent:>we don't approve cleavage, ass, tits, bare skin etc except this one thing and you will like it (until we take that away as well)That is why gacha characters look like porn characters compared to what is allowed in video games nowadays.
