Just started (beat Morbol) and so far this game is 10/10. Interesting story that I’ve never seen before from Japan, great music, great graphics and art direction, combat feels fun and satisfying. How the fuck did this game sell so poorly and why do so many people hate it?

The game gets gradually worse. The story drops the GOT inspiration, the combat doesn't evolve, mandatory fetch-quests, multiple "epic" moments that are glorified minigames, and minimal RPG elements.
