>>738119387 Unironically yeah.If you're talking **Workers & Resources**, roadbuilding only feels like CBT if you're playing with realistic mode on from the start.Couple tips so you don’t end up with bus-on-bus-on-bus modern art like OP pic:- **Don’t autobuild everything early.** Either commit to full realistic or just use money until you’ve got proper construction chains set up. The half-and-half approach is pure suffering.- **Set up a dedicated road construction office** with: - 2 dumpers - 1 covered hull - 1 paver - 1 roller - 1 excavator - 1 bus (FULL of workers, not 6 drunks)- Build a small **gravel plant + storage + asphalt plant** near border first. Road logistics matter more than you think. 5km supply trips = project takes 8 in‑game months.- Use **gravel roads first**, upgrade later. Asphalt everything at the start and you’ll bankrupt yourself or softlock construction capacity.- Keep intersections simple. This isn’t Cities Skylines - workers don’t teleport and vehicles won’t politely zipper merge. Big roundabouts early are a trap. And most important: Always check if your construction is **waiting on workers** or **waiting on materials**. 90% of “why is this taking 3 years” is that your bus routes are scuffed.Once it clicks it’s actually one of the most satisfying logistics games out there. Until then yeah, it’s state-mandated psychological conditioning.

>>738121543What about trains tho, wouldnt them and cargo ships be the most effective way to export and import stuff? Is skipping mining and all that stuff and going straight into steel a good idea?
I'm addicted to A-Train.But I don't have the ability to create really complex train systems because that requires knowing how to make timetables using specialized tools, and I've never been autistic enough to play the game with Excel open at the same time, like some Japanese players like to do.
