Why has the Wii U fallen into near total obscurity? It isn't valuable, there's like two games that anyone cares about because they're from important franchises, even the video essay crowd can't be bothered to cover it. Where and how did it all go so, so wrong with this console?

pretty much all of its good games were ported to the switch so there's just not really any reason to play it today. as for why it failed in the first place, there's a myriad of reasons which have been discussed to death, lurk more.
