>>738113887not really
>>738113887I wish they'd overhauled how the loot works, getting a sword in some ruin and not being abtle to use it for the next 20 levels is bullshit and immersion breaking.
>>738113887Yes, although I liked both DLCs much more than the main story. It was maybe the last game I played that really gave me that immersive fantasy adventure feeling. For me a key element of fantasy is the juxtaposition of magical, beautiful things with horrific monstrous things. New RPGs just make everything blandly ugly with no contrast.

>>738114237The loot and enemies having levels which prevented your from equipping or defeating shit is my biggest gripe with this game, otherwise I loved it and no open world game hit me that hard since
>>738113887Realtalk, the games only hyper successful due to its source and decent wriring/va even for side quests. Few side quests are integrated into the main quest or with each other. Gameplay doesn't hold up.
>>738113887Yes i do. I even bought it on GOG.
>>738113887Main game is too long and boring. Hearts of Stone is kino.
The games legacy is kinda leaning on the dlc'sVanilla game has great things that people remember, but also bad stuff people want to forget and their latest experience is obviously the better composed wine country area.
>>738114417>installing modsYDBTG
>>738114237Honestly, TW3 needs its own Cyberpunk 2.0 style update
>>738113887I played like 15 hours some years ago and I remember really liking the cutscenes... but the combat. It probably didn't help I was on Death March but it was so fucking jank. I ended finding a tactic that made me pretty much unkillable but it was still so fucking jank.
>>738115845We already got the next gen update which added a bunch of stuff plus lingering bug fixes. It's been over ten years, let it rest.
>>738113887I liked the main game.Hearts of Stone was interesting.Wasn't able to finish Blood and Wine because the story was boring as shit to me. I don't like the quirky duchess bitch, and I don't like the chatty vampire nigga.
>>738116210>Blood and WineBeautiful city
>>738116210>get to B&W hearing everyone praise it left and right>the story is just women are evil and the source of everyones problemsI didn't know CDPR could ever be so based
>>738113887Yeah. The world is awesome and the writing was really good. The questing got a little repetitive and boring at times because there was just so much of it and I always try to do everything I can, but I still enjoyed it. If it was less woke, more based, and had better combat it would be in my top 5 favorite games ever, probably. It sits in my top 100, now.
will the game look good on a nvidia geforce rtx 4060 ti?
Yes, even with all of it's obvious flaws. It's full of soul, which is very impressive for a seemingly bog standard ubishit open world slopfest.
>>738117259You can max it out, no ray tracing, and with texture mods you can even make the game look next gen
>>738116336except that the 'good' ending is where you forgive the lying murderous bitch kek
>>738117259No, 'fraid you will have to settle with everything set to low potato graphics
>>738117778Nah, the prison ending fits geralts character better (usually ending up in hapless situations)
>>738113887Yes, it's peak white male fantasy, it will quite literally never be topped.
>>738113887More than you like proper basic English grammar, that's for certain.
>>738117704thank you>>738117850god that's a funny image
>>738117259You could run it maxed at 30fps on a 1060.
>>738113887It's still the best open world RPG 11 years later. Playing crimson deshart reminded me how good it was, I'll actually start another run soon.
>>738113887combat badstory goodshani best girl
>>738113887Yes, but only with WEE>>738118279based
>Pass through some village, low level, just exploring>Get thrown into some quests about two fancypants in shiny armor it without choice>15m long cinematic about two guys that want to kill bandits or some shit>"Do you wanna help us ? "Yes", "Maybe">Get forced into combat after all that jazz>Oh wait it's actually DLC content>Level 30 enemies>Locked into it unless you load a previous save Now thats immersion breaking
>>738118524The game is full of that shit. A random quest marker talks to you about his problems, you agree to help but you can't because you're too low level. You must cast it aside and come back later. Was it too hard to lock quests based on your level, just like WoW does ?
>>738113887Yea, they’re great. Wish it had transmog or a way to upgrade rare equipment on console though.
thanks anons
