Check back after a year or two. Game lacks variety and dynamic NPC/faction interactions atm. Should be a lot better after the nomad faction and ai vs ai update planned for release later this year.

Game is pretty basic at the moment, the first map is pretty good but the other larger maps are pretty dull an empty at the moment.

Needs more development but it's still enjoyable as it is. The next update in a couple of weeks Is adding a faction and more gameplay elements as well as improvements to the ai.

I have high hopes for the game, it's barebones but the foundation is there and the guy behind it seems like he knows what he's doing. I would not expect for it to become a proper game soon though, shit takes time. It does hit exactly the spot I've been craving though, just the right amount of autism, not too little, not too much.

the way i see it, this entire genre of a slop stalker like lives or dies by the AI interactions. If you remove the AI, there is nothing to this kind of a game at all. So the AI has to be, at some level, enjoyable to interact with. I use these words specifically because I don't mean AI that functions perfectly, but one that just does something. It can attempt at flanking maneuvers and glitch out in the process, it can try to call out your position, it can team up with or against you, it can be in the middle of looting as you find them so that YOU are the one getting a drop on them, they can be on their own missions, fucking ANYTHING
but this game does not have AI. It just walks at you, ignores mechanics the game has (infinite ammo, no reloads, they dont care about weather or even the most basic stuff like vision, or cares about the debuffs that the player has to contend with), and either domes you from 15km away or stares at you as if we managed to achieve peace in our time and that we can all make it together if we try
I wouldn't even say that the game is unfinished - the development has yet to start. It feels more like a blank template. Looking at the roadmap, the most we're getting from the AI is that there will be factions in-fighting.

The game has potential for sure.

Currently the AI is the one thing that annoys me the most.
The enemy seems to be drawn to you from all the angles. You never catch them doing random stuff in the environment.
They're just waiting to cross paths with you or slowly creeping towards your location.
Fortunately the dev said the next big update will be on AI behavior so we'll have to wait and see what he comes up with.
