What's the easiest Mega Man game a new player can get into?
Mega Man 10's easy mode, if you're new to or not great at platformers. If you know how to jump n shoot, I'd start with 3 since that adds so much to the Mega Man universe it's kind of required reading (there is no text). They're all really fun, low commitment games, aside from like 7, 8, Mega Man and Bass, and Mega Man 11. Those games are still really fun, but because they have more plot and larger levels they're a bit higher stakes. Mega Man and Bass is probably the hardest (worst?) game in the series. My recommendation is to start with 10 easy mode if you're not familiar with platformers, or 3 if you are. Keep in mind that 3 is a little unfinished, if it bugs you or you bounce off then give 2 a try.
I had a vision for MMBN7 once>Lan's son Patch is a bully at school because his dad is a big shot and they're rich so he treats others poorly.>Realizes he's lonely. Even young teacher Cial or classmates Ciel depended which version, saw him having issues>Asks dad for his custom Navi.>Lan punishes Patch by giving X and Vile to his soon to be rival.>Patch gets depressed, feels betrayed etc.>Lan gives him Zero.exe instead. A virus turned navi in a reformatting experiment to try and solve the virus issues.>Patch and Zero.exe are both treated with mistrust. Other navis don't trust Zero because he was a virus.>Slowly learn to redeem themselves and save the world.>Megaman Battle Network Z (the 7 is inside the Z in the logo)

Pick the NES game that you think has the coolest bosses and go have a fun time.

2 or 3 are both really good points to drop in
Probably MMX4 overall. For Classic though, MM5. Both of these games have hilariously overtuned abilities and relatively easy to trivialize boss fights. Fair warning though, MM5 does expect you to not get hit (but you can hit even harder) and MMX4's final boss is a difficulty spike for a newcomer.

>>738125246All of them except MM1. Mega Man games are pretty easy.
>>738127192Once you know the boss order. Before then, bosses take a lot of shots and can kill you in like five hits usually.
>>738125246Either MM3 with [Red A6] as a starting password (gives you 9 E-Tanks from the beginning) or MM5, because that game hands out 1ups like crazy.
>>7381252466 or 11 for the original seriesX and X2
>>738125246Mega Man 2. Beat Metal Man first.
Mega Man 1 is a good starting point, anybody telling you its too hard is only going to bring up how much of a filter Yellow Devil is and i'll argue that 1 is better than 2 purely for the simple fact that 2 may be the easier game to pickup to start megaman, but the wily stages in 2 are total dogshit that it ruins the game wholesale.
>>738127404My guy. I've been playing MM games buster-only since I was in kindergarten. Compared to its contemporaries like Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania, and Contra, Mega Man is a piss-easy babby tier game.Sorry that zoomers suck, I guess.

>>738125246X1 if it doesn't have to be original series since you can just out-upgrade any difficulty in the game.
