No, you only can't attack Dry Devil because he is a devil worshipping homosexual, and Katherine because she's a bisexual girlboss. Every other story NPC you can attack, and knock out, only minorities get the invulnerability from attack.

The game has a special flag that makes you unable to attack them, and them immune from damage, you have to do a side swipe glitch to even attack them, but they take no damage. You can tell a chud player because all of the minorities have rusty t1 helmets because you can damage the armor.
