Krystalis is a buggy mess of a project but just 50 people made passable sekiro combat. LotF (2.8 birth by sleep dream drop distance remix) isn't bad either. It's not an insanely difficult genre to crack. Your biggest hurdles are animations (this is why LoP did so well, the puppet king phase 1 surpasses fromsoft even). Nioh 2 isn't even a soulslike. It's souls dna applied to the character action genre. Nioh animations are fucking atrocious.
