I had my first e gf here. We’d just sit by the castle and talk and then sometimes we’d chill in the cow area. This was for three weeks until she left and we never spoke again. My first and only person who was in my friends list. I was 12. Then when I was 14 my dad gave me a membership and I finally got a d dagger poison. Then 6 months later I got a granite maul and people laughed at me because I said that was a strong weapon. I seethed and worked hard and get an abyssal weapon later. Three days later someone said they could do monkey madness for me for a scimmy. I agreed and gave them the info. Two days later it wouldn’t let me log in. Thankfully the membership was cancelled beforehand. 6 years later I tried to log back in and it actually let me in with the old info and then it said it got perm banned for botting. :)

OSRS is such a nice heartwarming story of a game developer un-fucking themselves. It is really amazing that they completely and utterly ruined Runescape 3, rolled it back, tried again, and now it's more popular than ever. I am not sure any other game has had that kind of comeback.
