I'm playing DS3, and all I've been able to make out so far (I'm stuck on Pontiff Sullivan) from this cryptic shit is that a race of primordial demons has stolen fire from humanity, intending to take it to their world and restore it to its former glory, and your mission is to recover the fire and return it to the Fire Keeper, who is like a goddess I think, but the Lords of Ash have somehow synthesized the fire and you can’t take it from them, so you must bring their corpses to the catalysts (the thrones). Am I correct?
