When put into perspective, it was a direct upgrade from the N64 remote in every regard. I like how the official Wii U/Switch adapter practically immortalized it by also being usable on PC.

More comfort than the Dualshock, Analog triggers superior to PS2 L and R buttons , analog C stick camera control was better than c buttons but not a true analog stick, perfect for Mario and Zelda, bad for FPS and TPS and almost everything else due to button layout and d pad
