Why do people claim to like Wind Waker out of all the Zelda games? they are literally contorting themselves in knots to entertain the worst entry in the series.

The only legitimate criticism I kinda agree with is that changing the direction of the wind gets tedious, but that doesn't change the rest of the game for me.

For some, its aesthetics are strong enough to override its relatively weak game design. To be fair, said aesthetics are indeed absurdly good. A game should be good before it looks and sounds good though.
