Seong Mi-na, my dumb wife. Next game when?

bump

I came inside your dumbwife

Hopefully never. What the fuck are they still trying to make this game comp worthy and unfun when they already have T8?
>>
Next game will come out when Bandai Namco sees Tekken 8 had enough seasons; then they can allocate Tekken Peoject staff to Project Soul staff to focus on a Soulcalibur 7.

It's just the way it is, Tekken has become the absolute priority fighter at Bamco when Soulcalibur stopped growing in sales numbers by the time 4 came out, and Bamco got mad Tekken Tag 2 sold weak numbers when it was released in close proximity with Soulcalibur 5; since then Bamco has ensured Tekken and Soulcalibur will only be released in distant gaps, with Tekken as priority since it became the bigger series sales' wise.

Also that Twitter post Harada made a year or so ago helps understand how much of a lower priority Soulcalibur is internally at Bamco due the series not having a godfather producer/director that remained with the series like Harada did for decades, several of the big names that once chiefed over Soulcalibur left for other roles within Bamco or left the company altogether, it is telling that the last guy to get the latest Soulcalibur game, 6, off the ground had to come out of off Tekken Project, and he too left after finishing SC6.

Dead or Alive 7 being announced before Soulcalibur 7, despite DOA6 being a flop and Soulcalibur 6 doing well (not the blockbuster Bamco wants obviously) shows how much SC is held down at Bamco due internal focus on Tekken.

Weeks ago, a job listing for an internal Bandai Namco Studio working on a 3D fighting game with an emphasis on character creation was leaked.

Since this listing mentions that it's an inhouse Bandai Namco Studio working on this, this point matters because as most, if not all, Bandai Namco published titles that are based off of anime are not developed in-house and are outsourced (i.e. Spike Chunsoft or DiMPS).

Secondly, while the last couple of Super Smash Bros games were developed by Bandai Namco, outside of the Miis, there is no character customization. I'm not entirely certain, but I believe Nintendo or HAL takes care of that?

Thirdly, Tekken 8 is way too recent and in active development as it's a live service game for there to be a sequel in development.

It's Soulcalibur. It's supposed to be one word!

I don't understand why they can't just copy Soul Calibur 3 with Chronicles of the Sword and just improve and polish it
such a fun game, fucking love SC3
>>
>>738185910
they dont make games anymore

SC3 was made when the series was an all-time successful franchise that was treated equally with Tekken internally at Bamco, hence they were so bold with making it a PS2 exclusive despite 2 being multi-plat.

Nowadays Soulcalibur is made with modest budgets, they can't splurge and replicate SC3 anymore.

It's like wiriting Spider Man instead of "Spider-Man", most cssuals don't bother with the official spelling since Soul Calibur seems more intuitive than Soulcalibur.

1) SQUIRM
2) SCREAM
3) ...?

I prefer the Weapon Master mode from 2. They just need to make it more feature deep.

My gui wasn't in the last game so any future game can go fuck itself
>>
>>738189927
If your "gui" wasn't in 6 then he was never relevant to begin with.

Job listings usually are for when a project just got approved for development, meaning it is quite far from release still, that would match a timeline where Tekken 8 ran most of its course so Bandai Namco can comfortably release the next Soulcalibur without caring for Tekken's support all that much.

>Rock fags STILL mad after almost 30 years

Get over it gramps, no one fucking cares about Not-Astaroth
>>

Rock was SC4 so he would be mad missing him for about 18 years actually.
