Different backgrounds, different enemy placements (Mars People appear way earlier), stages take place at different times of day, boss changes. Personally, I think 2's original stages are better overall so if you can overclock it in an emulator it's a better game but on real hardware X is smoother and it's just different enough to check out given how short each game is.

>>738219397I think it's one of the smartest translations of one genre to another I've ever played mechanically, they really made it feel like a turn-based run & gun, but the interface is a bit clunky at times and the run-based structure can get a little played out once you see every route/character (though that's still a good amount content).
Since Tactics was brought up, how do I get these? They're the only thing I have left to unlock.
