Too many times PC games have additional launchers that force you to go back to mouse and keyboard to then select to play the games.Trackpads solve that issue by allowing you to give full mouse control in those menus. For any controller without trackpads (aka all), you typically would have to get your ass out of the bed/couch, get your mouse and keyboard, select the options you need, and then you can actually start utilizing your controller proper.
