I also bought a m.2 last summer when it was super cheap.
My boot drive started having major problems and it kept crashing. Bought a new 4TB m.2 to replace and did a fresh instillation.
It was blessing in disguise seeing how expensive SSDs are now.

its ok for now getting a bit dated. i had a 5800x and 3080 and got the 5700x3d/4070tis for cheap last year as a stop-gap upgrade. I'll probably do a new build when the next gen parts drop. 10800x3d/6080 or intel cpu/amd gpu if they're good.

A chinkshit 120mm tower cooler (which beats settling on a non-tower) with one Arctic P12. Another fan is pointed at VRMs which have no heatsinks on the cheapshit mobo. That one is optional.
No case, the whole thing is just on a table. Makes cooling a breeze. No case fans. No noise. I like it actually. Even if do a proper build one day instead of this cheapshit pile, I’ll make it an open case/bench type of setup.
