I don't really get the defense against this that it isn't woke. From a design standpoint, why make nitya lesbian? That's a conscious decision that was made by the developer. "a lot of time has passed, she just moved on" isn't an explanation of how it isn't woke. That's not a normal turn of events. Being burned by a partner doesn't just make you magically switch sexual preferences. Time doesn't do that either.
