Where is DMC-Zelda? I want a game where Link has 2 guns and hit A, A, B -> B, <- while the music's like

One of my game ideas is that a young Link pals around with an old man Link, and the combat involves controlling them both as a pair, instead of individually. So you're constantly doing these synchronized combos. It's fucking goated.

Ever since I was young I always wanted a DMC style Zelda with a darker styled Link. Like you said give him guns and maybe a red tunic and let him go crazy.

Hyrule Warriors has a lot of influence from the dev's previous Ninja Gaiden games, so Link can play like a DMC character at times. It's still taking a lot from Dynasty Warriors, though.

It's funny DMC1 was already a Zelda game with it's adventurous level design and gimmicky fights. Adding combos would fit the sandbox design of modern mainline Zelda I guess but action games sell very badly so nintendo will never make such a ridiculous choice.

Age of Calamity Link was super fun to play. I really liked that one.
No interest in Age of Imprisonment cause it doesn’t really offer anything exciting to me. Their course correction of not having alternate timeline shenanigans actually killed off anything interesting about it.

Team Ninja helped for boss fights, not general combat.
