Should all games have a mode where you are limited to just one life?
>>738230331All games should only have one life in it. If you die or fail your goal the game uninstalls itself and you permanently lose access to it.
>>738230331no
>>738230331makes playing older games fun again. You think your an expert at game until you get your ass kicked on that part
>>738230613You would like Casinos they are sort of like this
>>738231195I hate that part though, i can blow through the entire game easily except for that ONE part
Going thru fps campaigns on one life is fun. Doom, Turok, Quake and Ion Fury are my favs to try 1cc. Been able to 1cc, Doom64 and Quake 2. Quake2 is easy once you get force field shield
>>738230331That depends on your definition of life as a game mechanic for video games without such a distinct system. Unless you are referring to only games within the category of having a life mechanic. Could you please be more ontologically and epstemically specific, please?
>>738230613The game should explode your pc or console and kill you irl if you die in it, that's the true hardcore experience.
>>738230331i think this works better as an "arcade mode" starting with 3 lives or whatever, althought it requires more balancing work to place extend items etc.
>>738230613Based coin operated game enjoyer
>>738230331No, but it's a welcome feature whenever it's added. I like when games have more options.
>>738230331It's fun when it's an optional super difficulty mode like in BG3 and Silksong, great for replays.
>>738230613extra mode, it triggers a nuclear holocaust irl.
