it was fun while it lasted but now it feels like victory is certain outside of some freak accident. When it gets that easy it feels like im just going through the motions and i lose interest. I get that they needed to balance the game for the people who dont play souls all the time but the special hardmode version of bosses should be allowed to be hard.

I think the NR team proved they can do something very different which still fits within the culture of Fromsoft game design. It was a great way to throw some untested devs into the deep end and see who sank and who swam. I want more experimentation from Fromsoft in the same vein.

If you think victory is guaranteed, it's probably just because you got gud. ESPECIALLY since you aren't even playing on DoN. Base game gets completely trivial at a certain point. You can manipulate nok or crater to show up whenever you want too. Or mountaintops for adel/caligo
