I think fanbases in general (gaming, movies, etc) need to stop giving so much of a shit about arbitrary dates. Shit takes longer to make in general now. No you're not entitled to Star Wars announcements on the 4th or Mass Effect announcements in November or whatever. Things will be announced when they're ready to be. Though only a select few non-Bethesda games out there actually has that modding potential. Total War, Mount & Blade and Blade & Sorcery are the only other ones that comes to mind so far.
