I found a way to go out of bounds and skip most of the first level. Right after the point where the boss looks at you from above there is a wall jumping section. Instead of turning right, you can jump over a railing and keep wall running forward. From there it is possible to climb all the way to the top and start the boss fight.

I managed to beat the game and i properly cleared only two chapters: 2 and 8. I managed to fully, or partially skip every other chapter. I was really hyped to see what was going to be on top of the tower, only for the game to end in a cryptic cliffhanger once you climb all the way to the sky. I hope there is some alternative ending if you collect enough of those optional orbs I would recommend getting this game on a steeper discount.
