the years overlap so that the generations lifecycles is 50/50 approaching the peak, the peak itself, and the beginning of gaming going to shit. unfortunately the latter half is the worse and it accelerated quickly. but to lump those specifically would be unfair. wii shouldn't be included with the other two and as a nintendie that didn't even own a wii when it was released it's still considered a 'good' console. that being said, having like 5-7 fucking call of duty games does have the effect of everything 'blurring together', thus, forgettable.
