metal max though it's not that obscure
>>
maybe obscure is a bit of a stretch but dark chronicle/dark cloud 2 is a masterpiece that doesn't get talked about nearly as much as the other top ps2 rpgs
>>
Liero, it's like worms but without the pausing or taking turns.
We used to play it two people using one keyboard but i don't think they ever launched a proper multiplayer version

Me and my cousin used to play a PS1 game where you chased robbers in your vehicle. One player would drive and the other would shoot their tyres etc, had to stop them before they reached the extraction point it was sorta fun

Otherwise they played crap like Angelica in hollywood (Rugrats) and Bust a Groove, it had some okay music. Think you just hit the button prompts as they appeared onscreen

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is an underrated Gem though, one of the best in the series (PS2) running around open world between fights made it like no other installment in the franchise, and collecting those colored MK coins to unlock gravestones. The story was also nice which helped

Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe was also pretty cool, just seeing those characters interact with eachother (before they went ham with other IP crossovers)

>won't play a game because of associated annoying faggots
>will spend hours on /v/ despite annoying faggots
The math isn't adding up here.

Gitaroo Man was fun, i would do some stages like 20 times over before finally beating them. My friend from down the road had it on his PSP and i liked it so much my mum ended up getting for my birthday on PS2. No idea where she found it pre-internet era in Australia. The tunes are really catchy and it blows shit like parappa the rapper out of the water

There's also a great party game Fusion Frenzy 1 & 2, but it's only fun with friends. You'll need a legacy console setup to play it, Kung Fu Chaos another great party game with mates

Blue Dragon was a great game but it's kindof childish story, and the love triangle between the main character his best friend and the girl is awkward as hell. Will eventually get a PC port i imagine from Akira Toriyama, DBZ guy

pic rel, no one ever talks about this game and it makes me sad. It is genuinely excellent one of the best DS games.
