Was playing this shit on emulator the other day, how do you even beat Limberry Castle? I made it to the third room and the boss just sleeps my entire party turn 1 before I can play and fucks my shit up with every other status ailment in the game every turn while knights rend all my gear. I was playing on easy to avoid having to grind, I had a squire, dragoon, holy knight, white mage and chocobo. I've since moved on to Tactics Ogre Reborn and have been enjoying it way more, but was I doing something wrong?

>>738269212in the game you have some classes like calculator that have good skills but shit stats, and classes like geomancer that have good stats but shit skills. to make strong characters you want to learn the good skills and then go back and put them on the strong classes. for example you can learn 2 hands from ninja and use it on knight, or draw from samurai and use it on black mage. or just use unique story characters because they're all pretty good by default.
