>>738271904Not OP but it's the opposite issue for me. I wasn't filtered by anything I've seen in Bloodborne. I first tried almost every encounter (only died 1 time to father Gascogne and also 2-3 times to the guy with a gun on top of the tower) or level challenge I came across. I ended up dropping the game after old yharnam (blood starved beast) and after doing one chalice dungeon. It's true that I have knowledge of the genre and became more paranoid of miyazaki traps, but I was playing for a few hours and didn't have any fun exploring or killing stuff. The setting looked pretty and music was excellent at times (cleric beast) but I can't see myself doing what I've been doing for whatever many hours. I play these games to feel under pressure and challenged, not to enjoy comfy walks in the park. I should've played this as my first souls game
